Akshya (Shay) Singh has decades of operational experience in the organization and management of a dynamic business that simultaneously creates new business, JV’s and partnerships, while continuing to deliver superior results to existing business. He is dedicated to maintaining clear and effective communication, leveraging technology to augment results. He enjoys Operations, Project Management and Client Delivery roles (in both the public and private sectors), creating lasting value while leading key initiatives to exceed annual business goals.
His successful outcomes delivering quality projects and results is anchored by clear and effective communication with his team, and trust building with all stakeholders. At the State University of New York at Buffalo, Shay was honored as the elected MBA Student of the Year in 1997 and served as the elected President of Delta Sigma Pi, a selective Business Fraternity.
Shay led operations for Kisan, a privately-owned federal contractor, where he coordinated two JV’s, Kisan-Pike and Kisan-Maron, delivering twenty projects across northeastern U.S. Naval facilities. These included architectural, structural, mechanical, powerhouse and electrical repairs, as well as elevator replacements and Anti-Terrorism Force Protection upgrades.
Prior to founding Kisan, he was an Enterprise Architect and E-Commerce Systems Manager at Accenture, with clients such as American Express, Allstate, and VC-backed startup companies. He provides advisory work for Bestest, a fast-growing app and website that is implementing a corporate services buildout and assisted with several successful funding rounds. He also consults with the owner of Aerostar Manufacturing in acquisition bid planning, achieving the turnaround of a Manufacturer/Supplier to the Heavy Equipment and Trucking Industry.
